It is a white to milky white fine powder with a slight fragrance, a bitter and slightly astringent taste, a melting point of 288℃~290℃, and is easily soluble in chloroform, methanol, ethanol, and slightly soluble in water. The plant source is the dry bark of the wild African plant Yohimbe (CorynanteYohimbe) or the extract of the bark of the West African plant Rubia Chemicalbook. The pharmacological effects are manifested as increasing sexual muscle tension, non-destructive urine inhibition, accelerating the body's energy metabolism, and increasing energy supply. Clinically, a single dose is used to treat various types of male impotence and sexual dysfunction.
